Delta Zeta Sorority
Delta Zeta was the very beginning of my involvement at Auburn. Through Delta Zeta I was encouraged to become involved not only within the sorority but also outside of it. I helped serve Delta Zeta's philanthropy, Starkey Hearing Foundation, as a member of the philanthropy committee. I also have Delta Zeta to thank for many of the best friends I have made during my time at Auburn.
Camp War Eagle
Camp War Eagle is Auburn University's freshman orientation program, and during the summer of 2017 I had the privilege of serving as a parent counselor for the program. I trained alongside 55 other camp and parent counselors for a full semester to prepare for our roles. During the summer I gave presentations to the parents, narrated bus tours of the campus and served as a source of information for the parents during their time at Camp War Eagle.
Rho Lambda is the Panhellenic leadership society for juniors and seniors. Members are selected based on their GPAs as well as their overall involvement with the Auburn Panhellenic system. I was inducted into Rho Lambda in the spring of 2016 and served as the secretary until May of 2017. During my time as the secretary I helped to revive the organization and make it a more well known part of Auburn's campus.
Lambda Pi Eta
Lambda Pi Eta is the honor society of the National Communication Association. I was inducted into Auburn's chapter of the society in the spring of 2017. Lambda Pi Eta has given me the opportunity to discuss and connect with other students in the fields of communications, journalism and public relations. It has also allowed me to listen to and meet professionals from the fields who came to speak at our meetings.
